espritfollet: howiviewafrica: Map showing the distribution of African language families and some major African languages. FYI if you don’t know this, when the colonial idiots arbitrarily created new borders for colonial states, they split up all the ethnic groups. Putting people who can’t speak the same language together within one state and splitting up groups between borders is a lovely way to create division and conflict.  I can’t guarantee the accuracy of the map but regardless, the point still stands.
